Background: As consultant to the CEO of a large innovative regional non-profit delivering services to behavioral health agencies and their clients / patients, evaluated financial management practices and effectiveness during a period of financial pressure caused by lender pressure, imbalance between service costs and revenue, service payment delays and resulting cash shortfalls, and process inefficiencies. The organization was basically a government contractor and also an advocate for the mentally ill with staff drawn from this population. Annual revenues were in the $20+ million range.
